Hello, my name is Elke, I called myself Moon Pixie 'cause I'm totally into faery and I run the Moon Fest at Shorncliffe (north Brisbane) So If you'd like to meet up, come along then and introduce yourself I'd love to meet all you lovely fire sprites!

Dreams/wishes for the future: I would love to live in the forest (how increadibly hippy of me ) Better still, I'd love to get some land and create a forest! Rejuvenating and restoring the land... I'd love to build my house out of rammed earth or straw bail... Living on the land with beautiful lovely people.... Do my art.... maybe open a shop.... I think it'd be so fun to make all these gorgeous faery art pieces and put them all though the forest and have forest faery walks...*:. Maybe hold a festival thing on the land too.... Hmmmm what bliss....
Don't forget to dream and make wishes... it gives fate an idea of what you'd like your life to do!

went for a really lovely walk at sunset for the solstice the other day and the colours came alive in the sky and on the surface of the water and all the elements seemed to be alive and breathing
The park is opened again so i went to check out the new cubbyhouse playground, which is really freekin cool
and after dark when all the lil kiddies had gone away these two beautiful owls were perched up on the new wooden carved totum poles at the top of the playground 
... they were just beautiful and let me get quite close to say hello ... made me wonder tho if maybe the park renovations may have disrupted their home somewhat... 
heheh anyways

So it's a BLUE MOON this Saturday
and the moonfest park is reopened
:::grins:::
there is also this wonderfully beautiful wooden cubby house playground which looks reeeeeally inviting for a yummy lil cubby-house blue moon candle-lit gathering...:::*

all around the tree-houses and the centre beem of them there are these beautifully carved wooden totum poles .... snakes, birds, lizards ... they are just gorgeous!
I went for a walk at sunset for the solstice the other day and the colours in the sky and dancing on the water seemed to be completely alive and breathing! the clouds playing tricks with my eyes and everything completely moving with life and energy.... there seemed to be magick in the *air*
then as i strolled up to the new refurbished moonfest space... after the sun had gone down and the rusty golden colours faded to navy blues and greys and little pin pricks of stars started to sparkle in the sky .... and then sadly started getting washed out by the new lights all along the pathway that runs straight through the moonfest space... right about where the candle circle used to be.... just about made me cry....
the light so harsh and bright and sterile.....
but i walked back up towards the new cubby-house playground ....now that it wasn't swarming with lil munchikin children hehehe i could have a better look....
and in the twilighty shadows perched up on one of those beautifully carved wooded totum poles was this magnificent owl staring right at me...:::*
.... it let me get quite close to say hello... tho still wary of me ...doing it's lil funky owl neck dance hehe! ... and there was another smaller shyer one hiding up in the trees behind ....
such an amazing experience....
...tho it did make me wonder if perhaps the park renovations may have disrupted a home or two.... (or whole community)
as it seems when it gets quiet and dark the wild life comes out to play
i'd like to consider *myself* wild life too!*:.

This Saturday (for blue moon obviously)
Dress in you own Totum Animal attire (this is a condition of entry to the cubby-house ...even just a feather or two in your hair will do... but go all out if ya can!)
lets gather in the afternoon, as there has also been dolphins in the bay lately and quite possible we could spot a few in the daylight*:. they come right into the bay and swim around only a few metres away from the rock jetty
.... as well as being able to watch the magnificent sunset over the water*:. so lets say...hmmmmm4pm?
i will bring a few candles and smudge sticks and maybe a brazier for us to keep warm...
also blankies and fire gear and any other totum animal wild lively things you might have to add to the fun!*:.
....once again i am doing this all very last minute... but there was talk of us getting together for the blue moon down at shorncliffe last weekend yeah?

ummm.... kicked out coz home owner's daughter is gonna move in.....
