So, I'm Josh... im from boulder, co. unfortunately i've lived here my whole 22 years of life. i'm a student at CU, i've been spinning poi for a while now. I'm mostly self-taught, which basically means the last few years have been a waste. Didn't look to youtube or HoP until this year. I had a sensei briefly, but... well it's complicated. That covers most of the introduction.
Favorite Food(s): beer and pizza, college staples. actually, i guess im sick of them.
Favorite Color(s): blue, green, or purple. probably black, but that's not much of a color.
What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow?: somewhere between that of a mosquito and a hawk.
Toys: poi! contact juggling, devilsticks.
Hobbies other than the obvious: videogames, concerts/music festivals, my guitar, oh and i dabble in artwork from time to time.
Education: on and off student, a little over a semester until graduation.
Favorite Book(s): ill just list authors: thom wolfe, rick straussman, terrence mckenna, kate elliott, robert jordan.
Favorite Movie(s): ill just list directors: tarantino, chan wook park, robert rodriguez, the cohen brothers, P.T. Anderson.
Godzilla vs. a Star Wars Star Destroyer. Who wins? Why? that depends on if it's the era of godzilla as an earth destroyer, or when he's earth's protector. as protector of earth, he would probably be in tune with the force, and thus able to (possibly) destroy a star destroyer. Though, the jedi were hunted nearly to extinction effectively by the empire, and lets face it: godzilla is a big target, cant easily hide.
Favorite TV show(s): firefly
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up)
i want to be a fire performer and/or graphic designer.
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: shpongle, radiohead, tool, umphrey's mcgee, bonobo, dream theater, coldplay, pink floyd, led zeppelin, a whole host of others.

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): dont usually eat candy or icecream. weird, right? i'd have to say mackinaw island fudge if i had to pick.
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella?*
well, considering i've never had either of the former, id go with the latter. wouldn't want to sacrilegiously claim to know anything about the other two.
[*Please choose one. This is important as it is the site's equivalent to sating a religion. We have crusades, wars, mass conversions, cathedrals to Nutella, all that stuff.]
hopefully that's enough of an introduction, or hopefully it's not too long winded, i do tend to ramble.
oh, one last thing- i need to spin fire already! damnit

Enjoy the lunatics, Kersoine: For burning not drinking, and our normal is very different than anyone else's normal.
Though Godzilla kept coming back even though he "died" many times. Star destroyers go poof once then the empires gotta build another one.

I thought I'd append my introduction with a video. My first, and yes, I know it's very very rough. I have much better footage, to be edited in the future. A lot of these things I just recently learned and are not polished yet
