it was awesome last time, there's nowt to compare with getting lost in the dunes at 2am ish, and having to carry Elaine and StealthPete pack to the campsite

If Shell Island is so awesome, and the PL4Y crew are having a hard time finding a site... um... why don't they have it there?

Dont think the site is available for private/festival hire due to licences etc, and it's a wildlife protected site too. Plus it's not geographically central like Telford/Shrewsbury way, otherwise I'd hav emailed the big man straight off...

agreed, if dunc and crew find something central and dedicated to just play then that would make more sense. at first i thought shell island wouldnt be a great place due to campers turning up and not pre-booking, and im not sure on its policy's with things like caravans and marques, however the more i think about it, if play was a smaller version, they may book out a section for it... but thatll have to take in consideration for gating off that part

How much? How do I get there and do I need a tent? Do I have to be there on thursday or can I come on the Friday? I have Uni to contend with.

come whenever, yes you'll need a tent, £6 pp/pn and you get there via teleportation, a magic carpet, a wheeled contrivance such as a shopping trolley, or simply just wish.

what he said, also for transport, check the facebook link in regards to the train stop, or if theres anyone traveling from your direction who has space may give you a lift... just state your preferences and make a request, and we can see whats on offer. pre-warning though, this lot are slack

I could also do with a lift... or confirmation of no lift so I can try with the train (request stop... interaction with the train driver... eeek 8-) (and if anyone else is getting the train we can try co-ordination...). I've got Thursday and Friday off work and can get to anywhere with a mainline station very easily (and if anyone's going from Warrington life is easier still 8-).
Guess I'm doing porridge again 8-)
