there is roller skating at burning man. there is a roller disco. you can borrow them there so you dont have to bring your own. i think they feel safe in the knowledge that your not going to go skating off across the playa........

It is confirmed, I pestered many people locally and will be there for Burning Man. So great to see so many friends going, I won't even have to meet any new people

BLACK ROCK ROLLER DISCO!!!
last year after the temple burn, the dust storm hit and i walked in 3 big circles, the only reason i know this is because i passed the BR roller disco 3 times and it was still bumpin!
can't wait to be home!

I just decided a couple weeks ago to go. Every year I say "I'm taking a break" and then the inevitable happens.

I will be camping with a group of hoopers, probably at 7:30 & B. We will have a huge shade structure for hooping/spinning under so stop by for a spin if you're in the neighborhood.

And hopefully I'll cross paths with some of you. I do plan on stopping by OMCC and Center Camp...although with such a sweet spinning space right in my own camp it may be tempting to just kick it at home.

Any desire for an HoP meet-up?

OK well my news that i am very happy about is that I am not coming to Burning Man now. Why happy?
Because that means I am staying in Bali instead!!! I came here to do Nick WOolsey's poi retreat and never left!

.....Can't juggle balls but I sure as hell can juggle details....

Cheb i Sabbah is dj'ing at my camp's spin jam on Thursday! It will actually begin at 5:30, not 5, and this is playa-time of course.

We'll be closer to 7:15 @ Genome. Stop by for a spin!! it will most likely be mostly hoopers but all toys are welcome.
