Welcome the the 2008 Common Ground Thread!

Not so early bird - $40 till end of September or until sold out
Didn't sort it out at all on the door tickets - $50 (only if available)
The dates for this years Common Ground are
Friday 3th of October to Monday 6th of October
For those living in states who celebrate Labour Day it falls on the 6th this year - which means an extra day to spend in the beautiful Adelaide hills. W00t

oi!!! if i want to do something around this house pal i just put my foot down and it happens. yeah!!.... actually i put one down and then the other and so on....it's called running. it's the only way i can do anything really...

^^^heh - well that was certainly the opposite of the intension - the HOP b'day and CG are put so close together so that people can do both in the one trip. Going to Uber3Oz, MJC, CG and HOP Anniversary would make a fantastic antipodean tour for people to do. I wish I could do a festival tour of that calibre

The problem for me is that I'm a bartender so I work weekends and asking for two weekends off in a row to go be a hippy isn't going to be taken well by my manager
Plus it's my last year of uni and I'm trying for honours and 2 weekends out of study is pushing it

flights to & from adelaide booked!! i'll be getting there at 9.10am on the friday & then leaving 4.10pm on monday!! it was wierd...i'll be married by then so i had to book the flights in my new name!!

dont think we can manage it this year, we are going to the hop anniversary and we cant afford to do both... plus I have just started a new job so I cant get the time off really anyway..... doom. sorry Kate and Joshie... but next year fo' shure.
