Poi Passion beginners is in its 6th year of running, as poi is becoming more popular and is known as a good way to exercise as well as learning to concentrate and co-ordinate and gets you right in the zone.
At first poi can be frustrating, not knowing what you are doing with your hands. Poi will take you through different emotions: i.e. fear, pain, happiness, anger. It goes on so I hope you are getting the picture. Poi may look easy, but you will discover that this is a complicated art form which will challenge your mind and body ...

We want to help take you through the basic moves, breaking each move down so you have the chance to learn it and have a good understanding of what both hands are doing and getting to know your poi as well as learning the names of the moves.
This is an easy way to learn basic Poi spinning skills along side our qualified Poi teachers, who will make your eight weeks of Poi spinning fun and easy to understand.
Over the eight weeks we will cover a number of moves. Working through gradually to put the moves together. You will be assigned homework, as you cannot merely learn Poi in eight hours. You will need to train and make time to workout Poi moves. The course will prove to be eight weeks of hard work and discipline, but students will become graduate Poi spinners by the end. You will meet other poi spinners and get invited to poi events in the UK.
