My name is Jenny, I am from Portland Oregon of the United states. I am 19 years old, born april 18th. I'm a part time lab tech for a camera shop, a full time student, and a non-stop dancer.

I love sushi. Edemame is one of my favorite daily snacks.

My favorite colors are lime green, red, and black. My favorite toys are my poi. Currently all I have (next to my flags... same thing.. hehe) I'm currently collecting materials to make a staff and a pair of short staffs. I am also looking to get a dart and learn how to hoop.

Aside from poi, I love photography, why I work at a camera shop. I'm getting into the creation of digital music, I'll see where that takes me.

Again, I'm currently in college, doing the Oregon Arts Transfer Degree. I've taken some photography classes, I'm in a music production course, and want to take a hip hip and a ballet dancing class to further my poi performances. (any suggestions on better dances?)

I don't really read, when I do, it's a how to book usually. Something about first aid, Macromedia flash, heath, telekinesis, and other various things I'm interested in

In the fall I'm going to transfer to U of O for journalism.. I think..., and hope I don't have classes Monday morning... that will interfere with the Sunday night fire jams that I love so much. but really, I want to further my studies in the fire dances, and travel around for photography and journalism

"What is the wing speed of an unladen swallow?" ... uhh.. what do you mean? .... An African or European swallow?

I love music. I love techno. but my favorite is when I'm in the middle of the drum circle at the fire jam. just dancing. not with fire.. haha. they wouldn't like that. but I get so lost in it and I can't think. and I can dance for hours. it's an amazing meditative feeling, and I can't get enough of it.

if you want to get me ice cream, get me Tillamook brown cow (or as now called: utterly chocolate), and I will be happy biggrin

what is:

Marmite, Vegemite, and Nutella?

Welcome to HoP. How long have you been spinning? If you don't know, from what i've gathered portland seems to have a pretty nice scene. So it shouldnt be too hard to find someone who can teach you. Anyways, check the meet others section and hopfully you'll find people in the area.

Marmite is crap
Vegimite is crap
Nutella is pure deliciousness

so choose well......
