Everyday I find I've got too many balls in the air, too many irons in the fire & way too many voices in my head! Looking for some semblance of sanity on this weird little rock....will take any & all help offered & available!
Will stick to poi conversation for the present...
I suck! Bought beautiful, not actually sock poi, practiced, 'til I wore out finger hold on one of 'em. Made my own sock poi, and then made glow poi, too! I love to spin, but, like I said, I suck, seriously suck!
Moved to Duncan, BC., where almost everyone seems to have never seen, heard of poi. They act like I'm great! hahahahahahahahahahahaha!I
I gave myself those bruises!... Anyway, taught a few people some moves, showed 'em this site, and some Burning Man sites, now, the secret's out...I suck, and they know it, too! Just too nice to admit it, they are...
Will not teach, as I know I can't, if I could, I'd be doing fire by now, DUH! Would LOVE to find fellow poi freaks in my area, hint hint...need pointers, help, assistance, etc., etc.. plus, finding like-minded individuals up here's been a little difficult...any one out there?

Computer's been possessed by technodemonics and I've been even more outta touch! hopefully, all's well that goes in for repair...only time will tell...I am officially back, have a few days w/out child and off work! I still really, Really, REALLY suck...even worse than before, damn! that great job I landed is just such an interference! No! Kidding! Kidding...don't want to attract the powers of unemployment...I shall practice and hand camera to audience, hopefully you'll see proof of advanced suckage very soon. Now there's something to look forward to!

Geez! If I'd known that rabbit hole was so deep....I'da never gone in.... Whew! Good to be back!
Been way too busy with life's little details... But, now that I'm laid off (ick...in a way...) I've got a bit more time on my hands...the trick is how to use that time productively! Found local Tack & Saddle shop, took in 1st ever set of practice poi. Showed the owner both finger-holders, the destroyed & survivor. Ta-da! All better! And he even made a template for it, said he'd cut me serious deal, if I want to try making & selling 'em. Nice old guy, may just take him up on it!
I wasn't kidding, way back when, when I said job was interfering w/.... Have barely touched poi except to make some in almost a year...sigh... This is also contributing factor concerning my absence from hop.. If it's possible, I suck worse than ever! Am starting to get outside (the rain seems to be taking a break, and the wind has died down) more, and I know it'll come... There's an event in Nanaimo on June 29th, 30th and July 1st...it's called"Whizbang!" and there's going to be fire dancing, juggling, all kinds of stuff! Think I'll get my feet wet, check out "local" community and take the kid, too! I can get more info about Whizbang if anyone's interested...
