I just got started a lil over a month ago, and it's catching on pretty well. Already got both directions down, crossovers, butterfly's. Basically just surfin vids on google videos to learn more moves. Haven't played with fire yet, but I already have my monkey fist and chain from neonhusky.com as well as a couple led ball sets. I'm currently practicing with a dual led ball setup on nylon. Here's a pic of one of my butterfly's:
