The Dolphin one is false...
A dolphin doesn't sleep like other animals do. If a dolphin were to sleep properly, it would Drown.
So, the Dolphin is able to shut down half of it's brain at a time, so that one half can sleep, while the other half keeps it swimming and returning to the surface for Air.

The Georgia Aquarium is one of only 2 (two) aquariums in the world with whale sharks on display. There are currently three whale sharks on display, after a fourth (one of the first two sharks to arrive at the aquarium before it opened) perished last month. The cause of death is still unknown, but the other three sharks do not appear to have been affected or ill.
The Mantis Shrimp can strike its calcified club or spear with a blow close to the power of .22 caliber bullet, earning this stomapod the rather dubious, yet honest name "Thumbsplitter."
Fire coral will produce a terrible, god-awful burning sensation if touched (so listen to your dive guides when they tell you not to touch anything!)
Eels, such as the moray, can actually survive outside of the water for up to eighteen hours so long as they are kept moist (although, it's not recommended).
There are no TRUE wild goldfish species. Goldfish are all hybrids.
Many species of fish, such as guppies and some saltwater angelfish, will change genders to fill a need for local populations.
The parrotfish, as well as other varies of wrasses, will make a sort of bed out of a mucus ball for the night.

This is because the human mind recognizes word shapes moreso than reading individual letters. This is also why writing in ALL CAPS makes you the devil. Your mind can't recognize the word shapes when people write in all caps, forcing your brain to actually process individual letters as opposed to reading the word shape. It incredible slows down reading time. So, think about it, everytime you write in ALL CAPS, I will be adding you to my hit list.
Did you also know that, if you were to blot out the bottom half of letterforms (technically, it's the bottom quarter, half the x-height of a letter), the word would still be readable?
However, where you to blot out the top half of letters- it wouldn't work.
Oh, oh, and on the same token- did you know you can control the speed of your readers through creative use of the leading and tracking of your type?
Did you know the Chinese had moveable type before the Gutenberg press?
Did you know, if you look very closely to the late 1990s, early 2000s artwork of Ethan Van Sciver, you can usually (*but not always, not now that people have caught on) spot the word "sex" worked into the art. In one sample, the individual letters were in three panels of Catwoman, using the curves of her whip to subtly create the letters.
Did you know a good vet or farrier can get an educated guess at a horse's age from its teeth and the wear on them (thus starting the adage, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.")?
Did you know the only real way to sex hermit crabs (to determine their gender- get your minds out of the gutter!) is to watch for when they crawl out of their shells to change 'em?
