Hey everyone! I'm Nolly - and I've been trawling these forums on and off for a while now, checking up on things, reading, and learning. But I figured I'd finally get amongst it.

So here's my introduction thread! I'll fill out all the info, then.

Hometown: Port Augusta - But now I'm proudly Adelaidian!

DOB: 14th july, 1984.

Age: That makes me 22.

Sex: Male (though some say I don't act it.)

Occupation(s): "Day job": Retail assistant (hardware store) "The job I LIKE doing": Sound engineer, Musician

Favorite Food(s): I pretty much eat anything, but lately I've had a craving for mexican and indian food. I've discovered spicy, and I am a fan.

Favorite Color(s): Royal blue, Cherry red. Boring, huh?

Toys: My guitars, basses, and other such musical equipment - my sound and studio gear (mmm, protools rig) - my poi! HOP Cathedrals and various sock colours Going to get rainbow soon!

Hobbies other than the obvious: Music, Music, Music. I play guitar, and I sing - And I'm always writing my own music. Recently I hurt my finger pretty badly and I haven't been able to play guitar, so I've taken some time to write lyrics etc, and listen to other musical styles. Been getting right into electronica again, and venturing out to a few raves. Yay glowstick twirling! I've also been recording and mixing bands live, and enjoying everything about adelaide's thriving music scene.

Favorite TV show(s): Firefly (R.I.P) - I don't really watch TV.

Plans for life in general: I ultimately want to be exclusively heavily involved in the music industry. I love working in and around bands, recording, mixing, and generally being behind the scenes. I love making and producing music, and microphones make me feel all fuzzy.

Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Far out. That's one of the most difficult questions you could ever ask me. Seriously, throw an artist at me and I'm probably a fan, or a fan of a similar artist. I love music in all it's forms, from heavy metal to electronica in all it's styles, to jazz, to classical, to indie, to pop, to emo, to hardcore, and much much more. Right now my playlist consists of Pendulum, Radiohead, Rise Against, Against Me!, Sarah Blasko, Atari Teenage Riot... Ahh, I could be here all day.

Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Bwahaha. Vanilla. I'm a big big fan of a really, really GOOD vanilla. Like, VANILLA, not plain. Not that stuff you get at wendy's. Real, proper, VANILLA. Mmm, mmm.
