Well...hmmm... redface

Pat already knows this one, but...

Many moons ago...when I was still a young and slightly stupid little woman...I went to a club show about 2 hours away from home with some friends...two girls...Janel, and Laura.

For some unknown reason, I decided that I should get myself a fifth of Mezcal Tequila to take along.

The three of us went on Laura's van (no...not a soccer Mom mini-van...buuuuhhhh)...and on the way, I was doing shots.

Salt and lime, ya know!

We got to the show and I was feeling pretty fine...had a couple of margarita's in the club...rocked out a while...and just generally had a grande ol time!!!

The band was some friends of ours...called The Point...and we all went back to the hotel to party some more after the show...at which point I proceeded once again to do more shots!!!

I was at the time a hairdresser and was using my hair cutting razor with the quard off to slice the limes!

The bass player for the band saw me doing this and took it away from me...which was probably a good thing...I still have all of my fingers.

Anyhow...The party finally broke up and me and my friends went back to our room to crash...and crash I certainly did!

At the time, tapered leg jeans were in style and that's what I was wearing...

I went into the bathroom to change since one of my friends had brought a 'friend' fo her own back to the room...

I had to reach down to my foot to pull my jeans over it so that I could take them off...and somehow...who knows exactly how...I ended up upside down in the corner of the bathrooom...and for the life of me, I couldn't decide how I was going to get back up again.

I guess that I did, because I finally made it into the bed and remember nothing more til the next morning!!!

My shoulder was quite sore and stiff and I couldn't think of why it could be that way...took me a few days before I remembered being upside down in the bathroom!!!

I felt like I'd been rode hard and put up wet!!!

And I had to drive back home that day!!!

That was the longest 2 hours that I think I've ever known!!!

I was sick for the next 18 hours and it was a couple of days before I felt like myself again!

Suffice it to say, that I have not had any Mezcal since that day!!! And that was 15 years ago!

They don't call it 'to-kill-ya' for nothing!!!!!!!!
