I started spinning about a month ago, when a good friend of mine brought his fire poi to a cottage where we spent a weekend fooling around with them. There I got addicted instantly, even though I just could do a figure 8 forwards and backwards..

) and got me some soft comet poi and a set of fire poi. I'm just amazed how much progress you can make, everytime you spin you pick up something new, and you never forget the stuff you've already learned. So far I cracked (in this order) the weave (forwards, reverse, turns (360°)), chasing the sun, low and high turn, windmill, and some other stuff.
