My recruitment in [Old link] isn't going so well, so I thought I'd better take this to the social chat!

) We suffered at the hands of an invasion only a few short months back, and we fought them off. But we can't be sure that the next attack won't be even more cunning than the last, so we need to be READY!
My sources tell me that the rednecks will ne next, so we need to start shaping up and rising to the danger!

Ok, I will concede you are not as much of a hippy as some around here, but you are still a hippy, just a clean one.
Hell you even met me outside FLinders St in a rainbow hoody and a pair of red Dr Martins, thats pretty hippy.
Also I don't believe this 'soilder dude' exists as I never met him

anyway, general - you haven't been acting in a very General-like manner recently. What's happened to morale around here? Is everyone out on leave, AWOL or just plain being hippy and un-army-like???
How about a spot of war games, manoevres or something to get the lads back in the swing of military matters??

righto then missy, now ya've got that out of ya system, how 'bout a REAL war game? An enemy (probably preferably fictitious so no-one actually dies), logistics, co-ordination of naval and air forces, plans, orders, sit-reps ...
(plus a bit of random firing of weapons and drinking tots of rum for the troops)

righto, then we can 2 squadrons topside in 2 ticks. What ordinance you want General? - 500 pounders? rockets? 56 cal? smart bombs? or something more potent - we got a good deal on toast spread with vegemite - drop them over the enemy's walkways and it'll be better than anti-personnel mines - no-one will want to risk stepping on them! mwahhahahaha!
pass the rum general - this co-ordination stuff takes it's toll.

yeah - don't go into school today Rougie - your aerial support spearhead is going to make a mess of the place I'm afraid. The Napalm carpet will not be a comfortable place to sleep I'm afraid.
Now, you do have the ground troops organised to go in promptly behind the napalm don't you??
If not we may as well call the whole thing off and the armourers will be highly unhappy. They do so love playing with the explody firey things for real...

co-ordinates then please General - for a pinpoint precision "surgical" strike I need Lat-Long co-ordinates. Carpet bombing is so much easier.
Advise range of damage desired from a huge crater like hole, to building standing but people incinerated. Will plan the appropriate response.

General, you still trying to give the impression you aint a Hippy?? I only ask because I would expect the General of such a mighty and powerful global army such as the HoP Armed Forces must be, to be conversant with the global positioning system and such basic navigation techniques as lat-long. I mean, it's not like I asked for the coriolis effect correction factor or anything, just a simple question...
