I am new to POI. I'll tell you how I got started...
I know a couple from Mexico that tour making tips from the guy drumming and the girl dancing with fire. They came back to the area for a couple of months and we had been going to Galveston for them to perform. After seeing her do it once I decided I wanted to do it.
So she showed me a few of the basic moves a couple of nights ago and I've been doing a lot of research on the internet to learn more about it. I really dig the instructional videos on this site and thought I'd join the forum to network and communicate. So here I am!
The couple is leaving for Mexico in two weeks so I would really like to find some people in my area that I could learn from and just hang with.
