Hi there guys, I've just started learning poi ( I got into it from a girl friend of myne who's amazing to say the least with the things) and at the last White Party in Perth I got talking to some guys doing Poi and they recomended this site, so here I am.
Still really only know the basics, 3 or 4 moves, only been doing it about a month. I'm stuck on getting them to spin behind my back, just can't wrap my head around it!!!!
So anyhelp or suggestions about some difficult, but still beginner moves, would be much appreciated. The video libraries really helped.

Firstly welcome to HOP... secondly a PM will wend its way to you giving our local board details. Unless you are Nat in which case a new Nat joined today.
Perth meets..assuming you dont know about them..
Tuesday nights at Hyde Park near the mosaics and rotunda we meet at kinda 8-8.30 pm and at other times as we get motivated. Bring any toys etc and cake is always good too. Or fondue, milo.
Usually a few people there even in cold wet weather.
anyway come down and say hi. I will be back in a few weeks and hope to see you there
