i really need help with learning poi the online lessons are helpfull yes but also frusterating as their is no one their to help you when your poi keep smashing into your head

Hi and welcome to HoP wave

Regarding help with poi, it may help to post in the poi moves section too with slightly more specific queries, e.g. when I do a 3 beat weave, my poi keep hitting my shins etc.

The real secret though, is just to hang in there, and practise lots, one move at a time, and have fun. You'll be fine wink

meeting other spinners in your area helps as well - gives you some feedback as to what you are doing wrong. Where are you based?

ok i fixed my info thing im a little computer iliterate it took me like all day just to figure this site out....so now we can be up close and personal : ) but thatnks for the tips! im really new with poi so anything helps. im located in qualicum beach and vancouver bc and i would LOVE to meet some other fire spiners

Welcome to HoP Kaitlin. I've seen people post that are from Vancouver BC, you should be able to find other spinners in Meet Others.
