I know that I searched for a fair number of random things, including badgers and apes, to see what it'd pick up.
Unsurprisingly, it didn't pick up anything for badgers. However, it brought back a fair number of results for the word 'ape'
I think you're getting these searches from the large number of people who don't bother to read much - kind of like me when I sighed up for a poi mailing list, only to discover it was actuall People with Otter Interests!
