Hi guys, I'm new round here, though I first found HoP a couple of years back, I've only recently been reminded about it by a friend. I'm a beginner at poi, but I'm hoping to get a lot of practice in this summer... So, the questions...

Location: South London.
Hometown: Edinburgh, Scotland.
DOB: 1974
Age:31
Sex: F
Occupation(s): Database Developer for the University of London.
Favorite Food(s): Crumpets and butter. Sushi.
Favorite Color(s): Anything in the red/pink/purple spectrum. And rainbow colours.
Toys: Ooh. Geekery. Latest gadget is a M5000 - a mobile/PDA thing that does *everything*. As for non-electronic toys, I'm into kites - mostly stunt kites, but also the odd smaller power kite, and I like my line tat and wind toys :-)
Hobbies other than the obvious: Kiting, Live Journal (clarisinda.livejournal.com), real ale, and as much travel as I can fit in round a full time job - next up is a week on a boat in and around Venice with friends and I can't wait...
Education: degree in useless arts subjects, and a pg dip in something actually useful.
Favorite Book(s): Goodness knows.. no idea...
Favorite Movie(s): Not really into films, but I prefer UK films to anything USian.
Favorite TV show(s): I watch far too much reality TV. To balance that I also love BBC 4. I spend far more time listening to the radio than watching TV - I'm a Radio 4 addict :-)
Plans for life in general: (i.e. what you want to do when you grow up) Grow up? Do I have to?
Favorite Music Artists/Composers: Hmm. Simon and Garfunkel. Michael Nyman. Enya. Andrew Lloyd Weber and various other musical stuff.
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough Icecream.
Marmite, Vegemite, or Nutella? Either Marmite or Nutella. Never tried Vegemite. Actually, on balance, probably Nutella - does it matter?
