hey all, nice to meet you
I'm a south west fire bug
in Albany Western Australia
, and it seems i belong to a little impromtu gathering which at the moment has jokingly been labled "flaming youth".
I've been twirling now for three years and offer free lessons to any and all because people shouldn't charge for something so beautifull.
I fell in love with poi at a perth backpackers when i saw a girl twirling with a homemade set of tennisballs on rope with ribbon trails. Promptly got my own set made and half an hour later had split my lip and blacked my eye.
I was hooked.

Age: that would make me 21 atm

Occupation: fire bug and receptionist(yawn)

Hobbies other than the obvious: training my dog to do more tricks, beach bumming, Hopefully about to start learning silks.

Plans for life in general: still be a kid, keep learning, have a kid and teach him/her to be a kid
Favorie ice cream flavor(s): rum and raisin
Vegemite mostly ,coz with Nutella i end up eating it all with a spoon in one sitting, if you mix Nutella with fresh whipped cream and a little Kaluah you can make a wikid chocolate mouse... but oh so evil if your trying to stay healthy.

Gigd... my room mate has a pogo stick
he got it for his b-day he's a big kid too so i got him a transformer. now he spends all his time making lazer noises and alternating between his pogo stick and his unicycle

Yep mouse... we don't have mousse in australia they didn't find it as easy to stow away on the ships. and the convicts probally would have eaten them.

i can't be bothered writing an intro so i thougtht i'd just tack mine on to Jess's, seeing as we're both flaming youthers.
been twirling staff for about 5 years and have started a weekly fire night in my home town. nicknamed \"flaming youth\"
any one\'s free to come along and learn, play or just watch. Sunday nights at 8 PM in Eyrs park.if you want to play then bring your own kero though. we have prctice pois and sticks for any one wanting to learn and plenty of people willing to teach

i know its sad... and he's really good at it too rides into town and back on the single wheel. but he just inadvertantly taught me behind the back weave so i wont kick him out just yet.
