Am in Brasbane for a couple of months and am hoping to learn to juggle, to muck around on stilts and to play with a fire staff.

Hello and welcome to HoP!!!

Tell us more about you...

wave weavesmiley

Have you tried looking in the "meet others" section for folks in Brisbane?

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Heya zougzoug! Brisbane eh? ubbangel

Well, Monday nights there's a bit of a play/practice/muck about session at the Suncorp Piazza in Southbank (big yellow amphitheatre just behind the conservatorium) 7ish til late. If the venue's busy then it's at the busker's pitch, just by the artificial beach..

Feel free to bring any juggling or spinning toys (not a fire session)/instruments/toasters..

Also, you have to make it down to a Moonfest, or you'll be kicking yourself later. 16th December, Shorncliffe (take a train down, half an hour from the city- get out of the station, cross the small park, walk up the hill and towards the sea) Bring all your firegear, instruments etc.

You'll find more than a couple of Brissie HoPpers wink

Hi and welcome btw! wave

There's some quite good 'scars and injuries from spinning' threads about if you look for them. Please try not to start a new one though as it'll get closed and you'll end up feeling cheated, berated and slightly baffled wink hug

Feel free to ignore Arsena. He's not indicative of the site as a whole I assure you. Ravehead on the other hand kind of grows on you if you let him.

But if you do - at any point - find that ravehead is growing on you, I suggest using one of the mould removal products available at any good hardware store
wink

Meh
