Hey everyone, sorry I've been so inactive recently ^.^' Life's been pretty busy recently. I've found out I'm to be the father of a baby girl sometime in late december. Original due date was Dec 20th, but it's looking more towards between X-mas and New Years smile
Anyways, the mother and I are at an absolute standstill for baby names, so we're tapping any resources we can for ideas smile We're not looking for anything exotic. Unique but still sensible smile
Any help we can get would be absolutely great!
Cheers
Gram

My bloke wants to call any boy we have Fayde. Which would work for a girl too, I guess.
Someone may as well use the name - cos I'm sure not gonna!

We agreed on the girl though - Isabella (pronounced eesabella, Isa for short).

Congrats!

I've always thought I would like to make up a name, so no-one else has it..like...

nomenon.

Ok, that's silly. But if I had a boy I'd call it frank, or an old name that will soon be extinct. Maybe Bert? So you could have Elsie? Or Nora? Congrats anyway!!

all a bit weird i think, but they all suit us pretty well (well i like my name anyway) smile

A great name yes, however I shed a tear for all the girls out there named Malcolm. No offense Malcolm wink

And thanks to anyone who replied smile Lots of great inspiration and alot of things we're now thinking and using for basis of ideas smile

Also, after studying the ultrasound pictures, I'm almost positive the baby was attempting to reach for something to spin. If it comes out spinning meteors with the umbilical cord, we'll know for sure.

Moira or Emma have always struck a chord with me.

I also like Faeth to bring out the fairy in any sweet princess.

One of my best friends is naming her daughter Janelle Lourdes and my niece will be naming her daughter Serenity Rose...so names that are just this side of the norm seem to be rampant around me. smile

Congrats on your joy!

Thanks everyone for tons of inspirational ideas biggrin
We've decided on Eve for a first name, middle name it still in the air right now. God, who would have thought these kinds of things were so hard to choose :O I always thought it'd be so easy, and I had a huge list of names I liked :S But Eve just felt very right for our first daughter (and child at that).
