After Immence pressure from liquid_bubblegum this is now the thread for the Liverpool meets the first of which;
1st October 2005 @ 2 o'clock, meeting at Lime Street Station and then moving over to the pierhead for some nice dockside spinning.
Hopefully followed by a drink and a dance at the Krazyhouse.
So who's there?????

I found that winning my fire staff & my mate winning her fire poi (both made by tepooka) in a raffle at the Scottish JC this year meant that we recieved them instantly and can definately recommend this form of delivery!! Sounds like you all had a good night on thursday, shame I couldn't make it. I'm now on loads of nights then I'm off to Scotland for a fortnight to climb (probably in the rain!) and spin fire with some mates I've not seen in a while so looking forward to that. Guess that means I'll not be out to play in Liverpool for a while. Oh well I'm sure I'll see you guys once I'm back to uni.

Went are you coming back to Liverpool, Debs? Falmouth is on 14th-17th of Sept, a week before the start of uni depends on which uni you go to!

should be ok, i might get there a little bit later than 7, but i'll do my best. my fire poi should be here today or tommorrow, so it will be a good chance to test them. i need to get some parrafin and some kind of can or similar to carry and dip my fire heads in.

hey guys, i need ideas for a dipping/storage can for my fire heads...lowan, any ideas? oh yeah, where's the easiest place to get parrafin? i won't have a chance to get into town before thursday to get some from rapids.

my fire poi were onlysent today, so they might not get here before thursday
i'll be gutted if they aren't!Flamer, if these poi do arrive, do you mind if i use some of your parrafin on thursday and i'll repay you gladly at fal?

fire poi arrived.....but they're the wrong ones! I'm gutted!they have double loop handles instead of the single loop i ordered. this now means that i'm going to have to send them back and hope that a replacement comes quick!

I reckon you should burn them anyway and then just swap the handles.
Tapooka might be master in the making of every fire but they are terrible with taking orders! Another friend of mine ordered a fire-staff but got a pair of fire poi instead! I told her to pay for and keep the poi then wait for the firestaff. She knows some of the basics for poi and she will want a set of fire chains eventually anyway.

hey guys im finally back. my poi should hopefully arrive back tonight so if anyone is up for a spin at the weekend or early next week give us a bell. im now living at the top end of smithdown by the cemetry.

Dude! I really wish I could come... but instead i've got to work a horrible horrible shift at work.. a 5 - Close... It's the airshow too so i wont finish till really late. I've only just got home from tonights close and its 3:20am in the morning
