Ok, I wanted to make some sock poi, but yet not... So I knitted the bags for these, stuffed socks in them, and clipped them onto the chains ^.^ I like how I can just clip those off and clip glow-sticks in if I wanted!

very nice!

might i enquire as to where you got the chain and key ring links? Off another set of poi, or did you get/buy them from somewhere else? Are they dog chains by any chance?

That looks like some nice work, how long to knit a bag?

To think people where reacting like i was going a bit over the top when i suggested you can make your own handels with some strips of material and a few lines of stitching

Thats what I love about poi, get a good pair of handles and you can swap the ends around all you like and create your own prfered versions. Marvolouse simple splendid!

The chains are small dog choke chains, and I got the big lobster claws at Jo Ann fabrics, they had the keychain already on them. And the knitting took... 3 days I believe, and not knitting the whole time ^.^ and I made my handles, so looks like you weren't going over the top by suggesting making your own ^.~

Seeing as how you have such a clever eye for arts and crafts and their practicality. Perhaps you, some metal rings and a pair of pliers would make a good team? I've been doing it for years and it's very addictive - I'm mailling the chain on my practice poi as we speak, or, well - type.
