Hello HoPers *waves*

I'm another of those nasty lurker types who has been coaxed into visibility by other spinners, in this case the melbourne (australia) ones (flynt, the wench, pineapple pete, roarfire, myco and others).

I spin poi, been learning since november last year and I'm aparently "studying" at university. I think that will be enough rambling for now smile

hug hug hug talex! nice to see you've finally emerged from obscurity. you sooo need to say more than that in your intro, don't think we're going to let you get away with being so brief.

i'm sure that you know all about the random questions that will be asked, so i'll start some off....exactly how tall are you? what can you tell us about the phallix? do you have an amusing coconut related story?

hmm that should keep you busy biggrin

welcome man, im a noob too.

one thing i love about HOP is the way ppl from an area come on and shoutout an area and then people spring up everywhere and help out

anyway, best of luck man, and ffs never takes a disabled person's legs, [censored] man im sure it looked funny but i shudder to think what St Peter's gonna have to say to you!

myco: I refuse to inform you of my height and deny that it is around 6"6' or something like that. The phallix is sitting outside, unused, probably for good reason. I also have lots of amusing coconut related stories, mostly todo with imitating monty python down swanston st or to do with draining the milk from a coconut in a lecture, both of which were much fun smile

gita: I deny that I ever left the nuthouse biggrin

Willy: mmm, yes some spagetti and massage would be quite nice, which reminds me it is lunch time now... must go and hunt some food down soon.

mmm some likes and dislikes..
likes: sleep, fire twirling, bike riding, playing my clarinet in band
dislikes: 8:30am lectures *grumbles*, politicians, boring maths and physics lectures *shakes fist at first year uni subjects*

music i like umm, rock/metal ish type things, I mainly listen to A perfect circle, placebo, muse, rage against the machine that kind of stuff. I also like some classical, addicted to Shstakovich symphony no 5 atm.

Unfortunatly i'm not willing to divulge the colour of my toothbrush, probably because it is at home and I'm at uni. and I'm currently single.

LostSurfer: I'm not normally a tea drinker, but if I do make it, I'll follow Douglas Adam's instruction in the Salmon of Doubt. *makes a big pot of tea for maus and pours a cup*

wow, people have been posting in my intro thread... maybe I should stop being such a lurker and post more.

It was great meeting all you wonderful people biggrin I also found it a fantastic weekend to be reinspired to practice my poi more, after just one week i'm having even more fun spinning and I feel like I have learnt something for the first time in months. I can't wait for next year's gc.

I was playing with my sock poi in the backyard today, and my sister happened to be watching me when i did "the bull" (poi same time attached to head + stomping), i'm very disappointed with her, she thought i was being very "special" and failed to recognise the true awesomeness of that move. Siblings, aren't they terrible sometimes? wink

hi gita. Was great meeting you too. Going to uberoz and maybe staying for a moonfest is high on my list of priorities now. I think/hope I'll be in melburp around christmas/new years, i hope to see you again then. smile

Adya Miriyana: You should have seen petey at spinning sunday spinng just a few hours ago, he is getting even crazier, which is even more fun to watch. Did i do many crazy moves, the only thing that I do which i think is silly is the mouth butterfly ("the steve" or "the walrus"). I'm now trying to do it with my fire poi instead of just socks.

fallout: Thanks heaps for the photo, i love it smile

*waves* hi awaken, uni is going mostly well, besides it taking away valuable sleep in time...
yay common ground, I can't wait for it this year, 'twas so much fun last year.

rougie, i've tested ginger beer v3 (of doomy doomy doom doom) it is interesting... a bit too much bite... but it might mellow (hopefully towards drinkability) as it ages.
