Today I passed zero day for The Sabalauski Air Assault School. bounce

The only thing the web site does'nt tell you is that after the obtacle course and 2 mile run they smoke(intense physical training) the tar out of you until you reach muscle failure. Today has been one of the most trying days (mentaly and physicaly) I have had in my army career to date. I am ready to pass out on my couch I am so tired, but I can not frown

due to The fact that i have to get ready for tommorrow's events at the school.

Well, Air Assault is repelling from helicopters and what not. I'd have to go to Airborne school to jump out of planes. Also i get to learn how to sling load various types of equipment to be transported by helicopter. My first sargent is makeing everyone in my company who is not Air Assault qualified go to Air Assault School. I didn't realy have a choice in the matter. They say that day zero is the hardest. I'm just glad it's over with!

Update: I have now finished phase 1 of air assault school. biggrin

I now get to learn how to attach vehicles and what not safely to helicopters. devil

Maybe one will fall from a hundred feet and hit the ground with an explosion!(without hurting anyone.)
