I am very new to this site..... I have been into poi for four years now, and with only 25 minutes of practice time since buying them I have to one of the slowest developing “poi'ers” on this site.......but that’s all set to change!! I will be better, I will practice, and I will not hit myself either on the back of the head or where it hurts again... today ladies and gentlemen is a new day!!... so I would like to say hi to everyone... such a friendly bunch of people... and tell you now that I will openly accept any hits, tips and free demonstrations that you care to throw at me.. then I can have my own video section!!!…… Hello Everyone!!!

Roar, I think learning the 3 beat weave in four years is pretty poor..... but once I got it........ I had a huge smile!!!!

Come to Falmouth... it's going to be excellent... and it's not That far from Leeds, ahem, really?!!
Anyways... go to the events section and check out the very long Falmouth 4 thread.
In case you don't want to read it all... there's hundreds of Hoppers from all over the UK and Ireland and US meeting up in Falmouth from July 21-25 for a weekend of spinning, fun and general mayhem.

hi davie and all the other fellow noobies in the post. i myself just signed up and am thinking i might be very comfortable here i live on the gold coast for those who were speakin bout brisvegas. always making trips up to the valley but muuuch nicer to have a go on the staff down here by the beach any of u brisbanites make ur waydown here on sundays for bongos at burleigh?? i highly reccommend it if u havent kids, good times n good people.

It was in Brisbane that I saw my first fire twirler get tangled up while doing a Mexican wave...... it wasn't funny, but couldn't help myself but laugh at his expense... hehe....

hum... all up in the air at the moment. my best mate just came back from stayin with a bunch of kids in the outter suburbs of london so i think (b'cos i am heading back with her) we'll be making base wherever that is! i will be sure to add leeds to the "to visit list" tho and when i know where i'm going i will definitley let u no.

You make sure you do make it up to Leeds!! Its lovely, and assuming I get my place sorted next month there will even be a trampoline in my back garden you can crash on/under!!

To top the whole thing off... as you work in a call Centre I will get you a job doing recruitment if you like....*earning myself some fees over a message board!!*

I have never tried.. don't see why not... its always raining so nothing is going to catch on fire!!!!
at the moment I have been reduced to practicing in my kitchen... damn rain!!.... the pots, pans and oven all seem a little closer with tennis balls swinging around your head!!
