hey guys are there any of you in or around oxford, that meet up. I havent found many places where people spin in groups yet, think it would be reall cool.
if any one has info on whereabouts or if we could start one up may be. there are enough parks in oxford to spin in.

i am from australia and in 5 weeks i am comin and staying in oxford for 5 weeks YAY im really excited and would love it if i am able to catch up with some people and have a spin it would be great any of the days im not fused ill be over there from the 26th of july til the 2 of sept cant wait to see you all

Well..
The place is the Angel & Greyhound pub...walk up from
the roundabout, on the road to the left (St Clements)
and turn left when you see it (1 min walk). The gate
to the park is behind the pub.

I'm back
6 hours training a day for 6 days, then 4 hours training on 2 days, big scarey test under 7 (bricked myself I expected 3) of the highest ranked Japanese examiners, and I'm now a 2nd dan =)
Very tired now, 24 hours on the road/in the sky, and I thoghut it was Wednesday here, lol.
And the Japanese LOVE Poi =)

and a camera is welcome, I usually have mine allong, but the more the merrier, especially when it's attached to someone who actually knows how to use one properly!

Having said that, much as I'll be sad to leave Reading, one thing I won't miss is spending up to 2 hours getting home after evening spins... 3 minutes' walk from the Angel & Greyhound is much handier

I'd like to get the ball rolling on the Saturday thing and say I'll be in southparks from 8pm on the crest of the hill, theres a couple of benches nearby, a place where people have built fires not too far behind if people wanted to move there later.
there's more readily available parking at the top end of the park, and its not too long a walk across if you entered from the bottom instead.
It really is the only decent park in oxford thats convenient, and also doesn't hoof you out at a measly 9.30
