Hey everyone,
so anyway i am new to poi, i was walking along the beach one night near my place and happened to see a couple of people with staffs and thought it was cool. later that week i was up at a market and there was a set of poi for sale. so i just had to have some. since then all i have really got is a lot of bruises but had a lot of fun playing. So when i stumbled upon this site i thought YAY, no longer will i have to stalk the beaches once more hoping to catch sight of those mysterious figures with there pretty flames, and did a happy dance. And now i am here hoping to catch sight of mysterious strangers, (prefer tall dark and dangerous) with pretty fire.
So i still have a lot to learn but enough of my rambling and a little about me.
Name: adam
age: 24
sex: Male
location: the beach (not far out from geelong)
how long now: a couple of months with the poi although still to light up waiting till i get a bit better first
occupation: i work with little kids
hobbies: i have way to much time on my hands to list them all but books and more books, and building sand castles i like sand castles. art, photography, poi and contact juggling (also a newly aquired)
regrets: none its not worth it
hopes and dreams: to make it to the sunday night meet up in melbourne and take cool photos .
so yeah Questions? threats?

i saw you the other night. im the blonde kid /guy /card shark that waved to you just as you were leaving.

thanx pete that would be cool. i am hoping to make it up to melbourne again soon. hopefully with a bit more regularity too. also in future hoping wont have to run off so fast. i know next time to wear much warmer clothes. and bring blankets.

It's like a paff or a stoi and is really the best..... yeah. He he, I remember when I tried to surf at Ocean Grove... he he... my bros didn't do a good job of teaching me... so I poi-ed on the beach.

hmmm all still scary to me. well exept the poi there not so scary now staff still confuses me i know i have to spin it i just am not sure how exactly i cant seem to get it to work the way it should perhaps a trip to melbourne to actually watch some people play is in order again. as for devil sticks i cant even use the ones not on fire although i am sure if they are on fire i will learn much faster as i will be trying harder to make sure they dont hit me or the ground etc. same theory with my clubs. damn saftey consious friends and family
