Howdy,
I've been juggling on and off for a few years now. I'm best at
devil sticks, marginally okay with juggling balls, and downright
terrible with pins. I had been interested in juggling poi for some
time after seeing a few shows at various places and thinking, "I can do that." It took me a while to finally get off my butt and make some practice poi to see if it was something I would like to put time and money into.
A friend pointed me to HoP, and that night I made some juryrigged poi and started trying it that night. It's been about 5 days or so and I can do most of the online lessons, except for the completely behind the back tricks and the 4 and 5 point weave. (which perplex me to no end)
Other than that, I'm an odd mix of computer dork /roleplaying geek/ rev war reenactor/ goth/ boffer fighter who lives on the shore of Connecticut, US.

Snoopoi, I love the welcome spider. (:
I hear pink is the new black, but I doubt it would go well with the tall dark and spooky thing.
I will check out the other toys, thanx Noddy! I do hear that feeding the wildlife is bad for the animals, though, so you're going to have to forage for your next meal....
