Greetings Earthlings!
Now that I have enough knots on my skull from the poi, I think I'll take an asprin and intoduce myself.
My given name is Leo, those among the wise call me Moorstag. I've been spinning for, well about 2 hours now. No-one told me about the blisters, oh well it's a blast anyways.
I'm interested in meeting anyone in the San Diego area as well as checking out events. Also I need to buy some poi, any ideas

What handles are you using? I had blisters when i first started because i used shoestring... but if you find a decent, or make, handles they'll soon go
Do you like the colour pink?

Pink is cool...
I'm using homemade poi, I couldn't wait! That's where the blisters came from.
I have real ones on order, until then... I'll enjoy the blisters!

ohh..i got blisters. they won't last, if your anything like me, not sure if the handles softened or my skin toughened, but the problem resolved.

Maybe my skin toughening had something to do with it too...?
I have lovely patches of hardend (I cant spell today!!) skin on my poi fingers.

i first started poi with home mades with no swivels... i think that was why i blistered.. i fin that swithcing fingures at regular intervals help...

Never had blisters?!
I thought that was the way the poi were showing me that they care!Blisters are going away now,... Now if I can just get these things to behave
