It's been a while hey?

I've changed a bit since first wrote this intro post!

Well, I'm now 19, living in Melbourne. I'm studying Justice in the city which commences feb 12th. I'm kind of excited but kind of scared at the same time.

Unfortunately the 'spark' for firetwirling still hasn't been rekindled, it's probably been about a year since I've picked any toys up, not sure if I'll ever start up again.

I've been up and down and diagonal over the last however long it's been but I'm pleased to announce that I'm back, and I'm okay smile

Love & butterflies

Oh my goodness you are all so lovely.

Thankyou all for your kind words!

I'm feeling better now, I just get like that Saturday nights. Today we're holding a suprise birthday thing for Mum. Dad is taking Mum out for a coffee and stuff soon so I have to do some stuff, like tell all the visitors to park in neighbouring drive ways! (It's okay we have their permission!)

At least I'll have stuff to do and won't be bored.

Thanks again guys and thanks Flame for your lovely PM!

Dream update

You know how I was saying we were having visitors today for Mum's birthday? Yeah I had this dream last night. As soon as I woke up from it I typed in my mobile phone as a message. That's how I remember it so well! tongue

We had pet birds. I don't know if it was a male or female. One was a huge black like eagle that came and went as he pleased. I didn't talk to that one much but there was one that I was close to.

The voice was neutral but I'll call it a 'he'. Some part is telling they were cockatoos, the other part is telling me they were big falcon like things but I can't remember. We had 2 or three but I was particularly close to one of them, he was the biggest. And yes they spoke. We were awesome friends and he had wise words and he'd give me advice n stuff.

"Your Father said we'll have to be caged tomorrow" as a large bird was perched on my arm.

"We don't really want to be caged..."

"I know you don't but it's for the safety of our visitors" I said as I patted him.

"It'll just be for a few hours, and I'll come back and forth visiting you heaps I promise"

Dad knew that the bird spoke. But he didn't speak to the bird as much as I did. Like I said we were best friends! It was huge and I felt the bird on my arm as I dreamt it. A big weight.

A bit of a weird dream but it doesn't matter! ubblol

Yeah you might have visited. I can vaguely remember you saying something about my site but I could be wrong? It used to be a red and black background and now it's orange and black. It has a 'Rant o the week/month' section, and three pages of firetwirling photos.

No you didn't put me off it! I really enjoy working with disabled people, like with the volunteer work I do, I absolutely love that.

They didn't mention anything about disability studies whatsoever! But yeah, the Social Work course didn't appeal to me as much as it did when I read a 50 word summary in a book!

I don't know....I just wish I had some direction.

well social work courses (& similar ones...like the one i did!) look boring...& sometimes the lectures are boring...but at least it will give you the foundations (& that all important piece of paper) to get the job you really want!! smile

i think the way to go is found out what you want (& you seem to enjoy working with disabled people!) & then work out the best way to get you there!!

hug & much luck to you m'dear!! biggrin
