Hi, I'm brand spanking new to HOP, never even new it existed until I stumbled upon it recently. Only just starting to get my sea legs as far as the technology thing goes. Just typed poi into a search engine and BAM, Here I am. And right glad I am too. Been spinning for years on and off, started in South Africa and the enthusiasm kinda waned once I got to the UK and refused to leave the warmth of indoors for months. Years later I am regaining my passion and learnig to accept that 26 degrees celcius is warm.
Think Hop is amazing, looking forward to learning and living and loving and growing.

...and it cant come soon enough! It's gotten so stressy all of a sudden! Three major things have happened today that have completely knocked me over and taken the wind out of my sails

I know what you mean! I go spinning when the weathers nice (so not once this year yet!-apart from Southern lights so far), mostly in St Anne's well park or on the beach by the west pier. Well it's pretty much as official as it can get before the flights are booked but my mom is defenitly coming to visit in August I cant wait! She'll be here for Pride and the Black Rock free Party

Brighton Pride is the 4th of August. It starts from around midday I think and finishes at 8pm. Then on to the free party on the beach

Re: Free Party after Pride - we HAVE to not slack in getting ready for that! Most of us ended up not going due to the faffing around! (and trying rein in our murderous impulses in the presence of some spaced-out flake!)
