hi all

i have been here for bout six months, and finally decided to do an intro.

hi, im pete, petey, pineapple pete and various other things. born 5 / 4 / 89. living in melbourne.

I do alot of poi, bit of staff, bit of doubles, cross staff and fire eating. i want to learn rope dart, flynt got me hooked, and im tryin to self teach 3 section staff.

I like: fire, magic, juggling and all things musical

dislikes: seafood *ick*

ive been doing magic for a bit over a year now. i do alot of sleight of hand card magic, aswell as coins and anything else i can get my hands on.

in my spare time i like to do escapology. I can pick my way out of a pair of US police handcuffs in under 10 seconds, and get out of a straight jacket underwater biggrin

And your poi is wonderful to watch! That vertical hyperloop switch toss and catch thing.. that's going to keep me busy for aaages.. frown

ive been practicing that pirouette heaps, and gradually getting closer.

kool, its gradually getting better, and im sorta working out what i need to do, and what screws it up.

came up with something else last night too, its considderably easier aswell. think, horizontal hyperloop --> throw --> one hand butterfly --> throw --> 1 in each hand spinning

by the way, ive got a new addition to my racket family, a squash racket. its not quite as long, and a good deal skinnier, so i can only go through it head first.

id fogotten about this thread :P twas one month deep into the intos section

hmm, still havent spent the $500, am waiting until x-moose, so i can add on some pressy money.

ive planned, booked and paid for my trip to brisbane bounce

i had to work in the box factory for two days to afford the train trip. im off to merimbula on new years eve, spend 10 days there, and then im off to brisbane and seeing ed on the way up too. the train and bus takes about a day and a bit each way, so im gona need some new books :P

have been working on a few coin tricks recently, one is really creepy, but still needs practice. also been planning a new major trick, of which im hoping to have ready in time for .:*moon fest*:.

have thought up a couple of new ideas that im gona work on, which may lead to a COL entry. they're pretty original, combinging fire and some of my other talents biggrin

hmm, am thinking tis best i go to safeway and get something for dinner
