*Turns slightly green with envy* I that little sprite. He is sooo cute. I would be so happy if I ordered a can of fizzy drink and got him instead. I would take him home and we'd live together in perfect harmony forever

So how come you got to meet the sprite you lucky person you??

I'm so jealous!!!

Would that be at the henderson fraggle workshop type thing (I can't remember the actual name )? I'm sure I remember you or Cantus mentioning it in another thread

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

He he - A very silly thought crossed my mind when I read this thread

What if there are loads of those little sprites wandering around in dark caves somewhere - I bet they would love hanging on to a set of poi (practice not fire of course) and riding them like a fairground ride

Bet their screams of joy could almost match the enchanting whoosh of fire poi too!

P

(maybe it is just my warped mind though )

Um...did you say Sprite?

'Cause that's what I thought you said, the guy on the advert looked like he was that thirst he might just rip the sprites' head off and drink it's blood.......................then again he might just have ripped it off for the hell of it..............

So how did you meet this delectable character?

whats up with all the limitations?

Yay Bovril - you got a good ole memory!

My fraggle and I went to Jim Henson's Creature Shop in Camden last week and met soooo many characters and models from films and adverts.

We went into this workshop and there was an unfinished version of the Sprite lying on the table and someone working on it. I took a photo and the woman turns round and says.....

"you want a photo of the real one? I've got it in a box round here somewhere......hold on a minute"

!!!!!!!!

I was sooooooo HAPPY!!!!! She got it out and I got a pic of me and the REAL Sprite!

oooooooooo

It's not actually a shop UCOF. that's the name of the company premises.
Ordinary members of the public dont get to go round either. You have to be truly blessed (or dating the most wonderful girl in the world) to get a tour.

They're the people that made Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The Muppets, Fraggle Rock, Babe, Neverending Story III, Farscape and many other productions and films too numerous to mention.

I think everybody should just be patient to see the picture. Photos take a while to develop when time and cash are short.

how many drafts of your posts do you actually do C@ntus?

The picture is in the process of being developed. It does, as my Fraggle pointed out, take time and money to develop films (both of which I have very little of) and It would also be easier if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere!

But FEAR NOT! Pic soon coming!! I'm still buzzzzzing

I always forget to preview the post before I post. So I have to edit the mistakes after. But I don't like the "edited by" bit cluttering my nice neat posts so i ussually make a second one and delete the erroneous one instead.

Only sometimes I forget to delete one.

Or delete the one that was a mistake as i had originally intended. Answering your question in a post after yours would surely make it look like you're talking to me? Which you were. So it's all good.
