ok peoples! MirrorMask is out on DVD on 5th June! and you can also get a MirrorMask/Labyrinth/Dark Crystal Boxset then aswell!!! YAY!!!

I've met and contact Juggled with the guy that played Pingo in Mirrormask...
He's cool

just a few seconds - peachi spinning a staff in the background while painted gold
there's another film with rob brydon and some familiar looking firespinners in it out at the moment but i'll leave that discovery for someone else...

Ok firstly, I got really excited by finding that MirrorMask is being shown in theatres as from yesterday (10th March)! YAY!
But then equally depressed to find that it isnt being shown at all around Bath! Nooooooooooooo!

And on the film, I found it to be good, but wierd. Half of me was bored due to lack of explosions and guns and breasts, but the rest of me was going "coooor! woooow! look at that! oooooh!".

careful - i bought it on umd before i realised that its only available in region one and as such doesn't work on jap psp's (which is what i have) or on uk psp's...
i've even got the old v1.5 firmware and still there doesn't seem to be a way of making a region change for movies

not coming to australia?? - well not quite sure how, but i watched a dvd of this sunday morning at a mates house.(admittedly it was 7am, and we had just got home from a rave and our mental state at the time was pretty messed up)
it was great - very surreal and trippy though - id like to watch it again when slightly more awake.

Oh my roomate brought this home on sunday night along with lady in the water. After reading this thread it makes me wish they had decided to watch mirrormask instead

oh dear god I love that movie. I watched it with my boyfriend a few weeks ago when I was drawing his portrait and he really enjoyed it. unfortunately he also fell asleep through part of it but he was freakishly tired so I can forgive him...but yes...good movie, must see...

I fell asleep watching it this week but
being really tired, I'm watching again this week from what I saw at the start it is MUCH better than pan's labyrinth that has recently come out... A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.
