hey Adya. I finally got the answers to the questions I posed your slightly grumpy (but, it turns out shy and cute) young man.

Now I'd like you to answer the same questions. If that's ok.

So here they are:
what is your favourite colour and why (please give 2 reasons)What is your favourite type of animal - eg pigs, dogs, pandas etc - and why (2 reasons)

plus I have an extra 3rd question for you that I didn't ask mr grumpy (cos it would only confuse/startle him even more)

What is your favourite type of water - eg a lake, puddles, rivers etc {generic answers only don't name a specific place} (give 2 reasons)

Thank you for your time....

hehe he is shy and cute [though, he doesn't like to be called cute wink ubblol]

hmm..

favourite colour? to tell the truth i'm not sure. they all have a special place i guess smile so therefore rainbow would be a good choice, seeing i like natural rainbows. i quite like purple, it's in between a warm and a cool colour which is good, always in the middle, nothing specific.. not entirely sure if i gave you a straight answer there.. hmm

favourite animal? definately cat, i've had cats living around me all my life, sometimes people will say i do some things particularly cat-like. I love the care they hold, and are very loyal. Cuddly and friendly, they have a certain intuition about what's going on.

favourite type of water?.. mmm tough one. not sure if i can give you a straight answer here either.. i like waterfalls, the pure energy that they hold, and so free.. the ocean is something completely different, a house, a playground, another world..it's an amazing thing to enter. puddles are fun, to splash, to inspect.. they're interesting as they settle for just a short while then disappear again to fall in another place. i like how a puddle evaporates around a leaf, like a maple, and there is an outline of water following the contours of the leaf, with the ground otherwise dry. Lakes are serene, with a slightly regal feeling, as if they command respect. the stillness is so peaceful sometimes. smile i think the answer is that i love them all for their own reasons.. does that count? wink

the full extent of my japanese word base was gleaned from a paragraph in the first Red Dwarf novel. In which Todhunter (or someone) accuses Kochanski of being pretentious for learning Japanese and she replies

"Pretentious, watashi?"

Ok I'll stay quiet now...

I can speak English.

Valura taught me some kiwi when I stayed with her. And some nice nostralians at a doof near Melbourne tried to teach me to swear in nostralian but i wasn't very good at it.

I started learning spanish a few years ago but that was only because i was dating a girl from Valencia. She later went mental and split up with me. So I didn't put all that much effort into learning after that.

I think it's a symptom of being British that we flatly refuse to learn other cultures' languages. Makes us what we are - xenophobic snobs wink
