top o' the morning wales based poiple! this is the thread for all things wales based, although the crew is mostly based in the land of taff currently with a sizeable offshoot in the land of tawe, please talk about funky things all over cymru in this thread!!
so, for the uninitiated, here is an exciting list of regular poi activities for the wales based....
Cardiff/Caerdydd:
Thursday nights, 8-10pm, come along to Ebenezer Church (Charles Street, around the back of Burger King and Next) for nofitstate circus' community juggling club, for poi and all sorts of other exciting juggle arts. It's just £2.
Little Devil's Circus coming soon... contact pitman for further details or keep an eye on this thread
on sunny evenings/days, Roath Park (Rec. or flower garden) you may well find a NOn spinning... it might also not be a NOn, or even a HoP person at all, but if you see someone there spinning, you may as well say hello...
at other unspecified times, there may be other meets, check the most recent posts in this thread for specific details...
Juggling Shops
Cardiff Games, Duke St Arcade: although not exclusively a juggling shop, they stock some poi, juggling balls and rings, plus occasional other sorts of toys... oh and the guy who owns it does poi too!
Route One Skate Shop, Morgan Arcade: Stocks variety of juggling equipment, including poi.

ok let me get this straight... We are meeting on Friday 8th april....Where and when?.... Who is adbucting me from work because I know they won't give me the day off because half the other staff are off that day. Where do we hire alien costumes from to make it look believable?
Gayle pm me directions for Sat 9th so I can work out how to get there. If its easier from cardiff I might just have to beg borrow or steal a bed there for the night and just come from there. Strugz you'll have no problem finding Ross's house, call him for the easy directions. I would tell you myself but I'm crap at getting to Ross's house and always end up going the longer way I know better.

I work about a 50 min drive (if you are Bird) From Cardiff and I finish at 5pm. I'll need to go home to feed the kitties first though so that will take it to 6pm...... I'll try and figure something out tomorrow babe. My brain is shutting down for the night. I'm so tired.........*yawns*
