well i guess i am asking a favour, small comp ect ect but i am looking at making a large silholouete of a person walking, i was going to use am image from the propellerheads album 'decksanddrumsandrockandroll' but it just occured to me that some poi stuff would look really cool!!
so i am asking people to suggest a image to use as a silhouete
the image will end up being 75.5*198 cm
so i guess any submissions you can email to me at ajtagg@ntlworld.com
if i get one i like i will use that for the image

ok so on my door i was going to put a large image of a person walking...
but then i thought why not use poi or staff?
was going to use the album cover
decksanddrumsandrockandroll cool flash intro to the site
or something similar to that.
so if you have any pics that i could use to would look cool the door is the dimentions listed above
so any ideas you can email them to me or post a link...

All of lifes beauty lies within the artists scope, or you could just do it the old fashoned way. Lie down on a big piece of paper and have someone draw you!! Then do what ever it is that you want

well i was going to have someone walking so i was going to have to take a pic... but see what people think i just though see if people have any good ideas i like as an alternative, i like that but i cant think of much else and if people have better ideas why not??

I'M GOING TO TRY AND NOT SOUND LIKE A HICK, BUT....HERE IT GOES.....
here in Texas, i think we already have an idea like that....It is like a guy leaning up against a wall, two children running, cows......lots of stupid stuff people put up against thier houses so that when others drive by thier house they'll think it awesome.......but they are made of wood. I think they could make a picture for you if I ask.....

Shinova, I am from New Mexico we have the same thing.
Since its just a silholouete you can do so manythings with someone walking from just making one leg shorter to like a side view or something.... *shrugs*

it is kind of small for something like that... i just liked the idea of having a silhouete walking towards you, it is weird as you can tell even tho it is a black shape.. i will see what happens.. will try to post what it looks like currently later.. but am too lazy now (making new fire poi as well... yay

There is a lovely pic of Pele somewhere around where she is firebreathing in snow. She has her head tilted back and is blowing a plume into the sky. It would be great to build a design on...

Here is the thread where they were posted by PWB. I just tried the links out & they didn't seem to be working. You might want to ask if anyone else has copies, I suspect PWB is busy right now.
Doing it in silhouette would be tough, but you could do a very stylised version, in black, with bright yellow/white to pick out the light in the plume & on the face of the figure.

Sorry, mis-emphasis, don't try PWB at the moment, he will be looking after Pele while she is unwell. Sorry, I didn't make it very clear. but some other people might have the photos.
I also took a gander at her homepage. There are some lovely pictures there which you may be able to use. I love the one called "the hug"

Been thinking more about the design. Try a darkish blue background, with white stars, black silhouette figure with yellow & white to pick out the light...
