Well, howdy folks!!
Thought I'd just say Hi to you all and introduce myself... as you do....
My name's Ed.
Time to re-do this intro page, methinks...
Well. I'm now Older than my Teeth, but not quite as old as my Fingernails... also known as 23.
I have many interests. I have OCCJD (Obsessive, Compulsive Contact Juggling Disorder
) I spin poi, Attempt a bit of Staff, I devilstick... I've recently discovered the Joy of Urban Dance, and am trying to incorporate it into my Contact Juggling... Illusion is Great! I like straight lines. I like robotics. I like isolation, and I Love with a capital 'L' Hugs!! I love to be silly and play, after all, that's what Life is all about. I love to learn and experience new things, and am constantly Striving to improve my spinning/manipulation. I love to use '...' way too much... 
My Taste in Music is quite extensive... I like pretty much everything, from Metal to Hip Hop, Psytrance to Blues. My favourite at the moment is chilled out electronic music, anything with a funky beat to dance to. Can't really pick out a specific band or group, as I like too many of them...
As for film interests, I like things that make me scared. ANd things that make me laugh... and especially films that make you lean your head to one side, whilst doing this:
and saying Huh? to yourself for the first hour or so, and then suddenly Click! it all makes sense.I love to drink lots of tea, not really a coffee person, but now and again is cool. I challenge you to make Coffee to my Specifications!!
As for the Damn Marmite, Vegemite, Nutella question... They're all OK I wouldn't go so far as to favour one... I believe in equal opportunity and all that... However, none come close to a cup of Chai with a double Brandy in it...
I can be found in many places, Mainly in Guildford during Academic Holidays, At in Hull during term times, For I am in my second year of studying Spanish at Uniservity. I have recently found I have a penchant for hanging out with some weird, juggly, spinny people in Hastings, and can now and again be found there for a week or two of silliness and spinning...
So yeah, That's what I do. I'm also Sweet and Innocent.

India was officially wicked. It had a few ups and downs, but all was good.
My birthday was pretty damn depressing, but it would have been no matter what country I was in. The company i shared made it even better, though
Highlights were visiting the national park in Mumbai, and seeing lions and Tigers. We went on a "lion and Tiger safari" which was a little weird at first. We were driven into a huge enclosure, and then we stopped by a couple of pens, where we were told to look at the white tigers. At first i thought: Is this really a safari!? I expected to see the tigers roaming around freely in here... Anyway, we moved on, and we did se a tiger having a snooze in the sun, outside of the smaller pens. That's better, i thought. They must have showed us the ones in the smaller pens to make sure that we were guaranteed to see a tiger. Then we went on to the lion enclosure, and saw a couple Of Lionesses having a look around.
Then jea9 and I found a dry river bed, and began stacking rocks, and climbing trees. that was great, as I was staying with the circus in Malad, in Malad. it felt good to be in the middle of calm nature again.
I preformed once in the circus show, with Fire poi of all things... At first, they gave me petrol to use on the wicks...
Luckily, I was able to insist on using Kerosene, so i didn't feel as if i was going to die... They seemed to love my show, even though it was all improvised, and antispin Flowers are a real crowd pleaser. along with hybrids, and isolations. After my show, the circus manager has ordered that the other westerners put on a fire show. I feel a bit guilty for giving them extra work, in what is already a stressful environment. but on the other hand, the change of daily routine will do them good. Too much wake up, train, rest, preform in three shows, sleep, wake up train, etc etc... very monotonous.The circus was awesome. At first, it took a bit of getting used to the fact that the animal laws are different out there, with acts from Dogs, parrots, horses and Elephants. i felt really sorry for the animals out there. buthey, what could i do? They had laws on their side. one day, an Elephant got loose. I've never seen people so scared. The Elephant was on a rampage. It had had to watch the elephant masters dress up it's friend, and beat it when it didn't do as required straightaway. I'm not surprised it got angry. All the people around were running away from the naimal, running literally for their lives. Seeing the elephant run towards me, ok, from 50 yards away, was quite a scary experience. Nothing there would have stood in it's way, if it really wanted to do something. so powerful, they are. It went to the master's tent, and started shaking it. I swear this was a warning.
This is the elephant that had knocked jeanine over a couple of times. It saw she wasn't concentrating, and decided to knock her straight to the floor. TBH,I don't blame it, it had so much pent up aggression to release. Luckily, Jeanine knew how to fall, so she was minimally hurt. Such magnificent animals, but believe me, they can can be pretty damn scary when they want to be. and SOOOO damn strong.
Mumbai is a crazy city. on my third day there, Jeanine took me for a walk down the road. i was still feeling a little jetlagged and sick at this point, and just the main road outside the circus was way too much for me. Driving laws? Ha! Anything goes on those roads. Anything. Animals everywhere. and so much pollution from all the traffic. And the use of horns... Dayum. If you don't beep, you don't exist. Also, to make things look cool in India, add sequins. make it look tacky, go on.
Experiencing india was good for me, though. Made me appreciate a lot of things that I take for granted. i spent loads of time juggling and popping with Jeanine, and it was also just what she needed, something to break the monotony of everyday life in the circus, something to get her interested in playing around again. It felt so good to make her smile again.
now I just need to get over the jetlag, and the weak stomach... ate waaaay too much chilli.
