first of all, I'm not even going to get into the "yankee" thing, and how you are insulting many people in the states by calling them so (we fought a civil war over that you know - yankees are only from the north - and yank was the derogatory term used by the south for northerners during the conflict)
rather I'll skip strait to point and say there is no reason at all to use a surpuflous "u" to spell labor, color, or anything else like that.
conserve the vowels, fight against needless waste of the alphabet!
