Hi...I'm Cat, living in Australia and loving twirling...

Just wondering whether any fellow law-abiding Australians can help in regards to the recent total fire bans in Sydney and the restrictions/regulations/fire permits???

Or...if you want to just say hi back, that would be appreciated too! Ta muchly!

I agree Stone...that's why the question - I know too many people who lost their homes over the past few years!

Twirl in the rain I say...replacing the wick is worth it!

OOH...story: biggrin My darling little rabbit Myxi (Myximatosis) has discovered chains herself...one fell down from a hook and she takes the straps in her mouth and RUNS....funniest sight. She thinks they're great....now to teach her how to light up....

I have a 19 year old cat that dribbles stinky drool, is totally deaf and has dodgy back legs that give up on her if she stands up for more than 5 mins at a time. Because she is deaf she can't tell where anyone is and she cries out this heart wrenching sound until you stand in front of her to find out whats wrong. She sounds like its the last cry of a cat in much pain......that is until you stand in front of her. Then she does this little "mew" and curls back up and goes to sleep. Her favourite time for doing this is 2-4 am. If I try to put her collar on her she fakes dying. She lays on her side and wriggles a bit then goes limp.

The Truth is.....Cats rule the world. They do everything their own way. You may think you own a cat as a pet. Not so! They own you. They show you enough affection to get food, then ignore you until it suits them to be petted. They bring home dead things, NOT as a gift but to show you that you feed them rubbish stuff and should be catching it fresh for them. If it rains and they get wet do they come in and sleep in their own bed? No! they sleep on yours 'til they are dry, THEN move to their own bed.

Cats are sneaky, moody, manipulative, and cunning, but I wouldn't have them any other way! ubblove

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.

Julia - If you are a spinner in Alice, do you by any chance know Rob?? Long haired Theatre boy Rob?? Maybe? Anyway, it seems that he knows most of the Alice spinners as he is always talking about them! (He is my Twin brother - but he grew up in Alice, and I grew up in Canberra)
