Hello, i know this is an odd request but my lovely class of 7 year olds are doing a class assembly/ performance next week and im really stuck for ideas! would be hugely grateful for any inspirational ideas! its only 15mins long but im feeling pretty brain dead at the mo! (damn report writing)!!!

put them in a basement and teach them how fortunate they are compared to other kids in other parts of the world. (such as germany for example)
or you could just teach them old kidsongs.. theres heaps of history and culture in them that needs 2 be passed down. they may not realise it now, but in a few years... =)

My mom always does stuff with music. One time she did an entire lesson over that Coconut song by Harry Neilson with limes and coconuts, it was real cute.

how about you teach them the importance of complete silence. 15 minutes of complete silence to contemplate things and pick their noses while you get a tea break
