Hello!
well i shall start at the beginning, I got my first poi about a year ago, having never been one to exercise the mantra - practise makes perfect, i didn't... for the best part of that year. However then it got sunny again and I got the degree work out of the way, so the poi have returned into my life.
Then... About three weeks ago I met Mags & Brad in sunny sunny Falmouth (it's Rhiannon if you remember..) and the glaring inadequacies in my own poi spinning were highlighted....
Hence a new found determination to practise. - I was also lurking at Maenporth and took shiteloads of photos which I will duly post somewhere for those interested when I figure this forum out...
Alas I am no longer in Falmouth having just graduated, and am currently sponging off my parents for a couple of months in Cardiff (any other poi spinners here?!?!)
So that's the story of my journey to the forum, pleasure to find you all, I promise not to post too much random shite (which I can be prone to doing...)

alas don't think i met any of you when I was down there, I only came down on the Saturday, stayed for a few hours (mainly in the dark too..), and although i spoke to a couple of people, I can't remember names.... I will make more of an effort next time, you all seem like friendly types!
Had a look at your pictures custom bug, they're cool. Mine seem to have come out pretty well, although there was a bit of experimenting going on, so some of them are a little weird, but I'll post the edited photo album... Then if you spot yourselves, you can point it out so I know who you all are

oops sorry again about the text frenzy. My phone did indeed go mad and it seems that the people at the begining of the alphabet got it sent to them way more times than the ones at the end. Vaughan my nephew only got it twice! Lucky old him! That will teach me to try and send mass text messages on new years with the auto resend left on! Bad Bad Skully!
