I'm getting bored since I can't learn juggling anywhere now that it's summer holiday...
can someone give me a good poi site with advanced moves?
I pretty much know any move at HoP with poi so I can't learn a thing now...
I already know spherculism.com so don't link me there.

indeed I might be an ass for saying so but.. I doubt that... I know there are so man thigns that got gloseedover in my first 3-6 months on the baord that have never come up again... things I found interesting that werent talked about and then found under a different name on a thread that hasn't been posted on in like 2yrs..
while I do not doubt that all of things recently discussed you have learned but I doubt that there is nothing here (or anywhere) that you can't learn from..
and my final bit of pissyness.. have you checked out the basics.. because all the most highly technical moves I know.. infact I would go as far as to say that everything I know, involves nothing but basics.. not saying that some of these advanced moves are nothing but basic... so much as saying I've never seen anything that required more then the most rudimentary skill..
so i guess my suggestion is
1) spin the basics..
2) and search around...

So you can do all the moves posted in [Old link] thread?
A look through some of the older threads in the poi moves section usually digs up something that's not surfaced for a while, that's usually a good place to start looking for inspiration
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

but I was serious.. everytime I think I can't pick anything up I go back to very basics.. we never get far from.. and you'd really be amazed..

Can you do all basic movements both directions split time, same time and parallel and follow time and the infinite transitions between them.
May help to search for
waist-wraps
long arm or straight arm.
How's your under the leg stuff?

i think guys what this dude meant was do you know any other sites with video clips of lessons and stuff. I find it quite hard to put into actuions the words i see to describe a trick. But once i see a little video clip then it all falls into place! x

try downloading some of the videos from the video section of this site.
if you are not sure how something on them works, you can ask about the moves you see on them here

This has ~100 video lessons.
I think one of the problems is that it doesn't show up when you search for Poi on Google.
