Last weekend I went down to State Bridge Colorado to see a Fire Performance by a group of dancers from Grand Junction... State Bridge is an Old Minning Camp that is Very Haunted, and is built on an ancent Indian Village. A Fraight Train loaded with Coal passes by in front of the buildings every hour or so pulled by four engins. They are Long trains!
So The Night was going Well, Vey well indeed! I Ran into 3 friends from Alaska there in this Very Remote Concert/Bar!! I had eaten a mushroom Chocolate and a Ganga Cookie durring the first of three bands playing that night. So when the Fire show started I was seeing Great Tracers! I had my gear with me and haddent danced on anything for quite some time so I walked up and asked if I could slip in after everyone. My First show was very flowing!! I had a Great time up there and Showed these new fire dancers a few things I think... But after the show is when things got weard... Its like the spirits of the place took notice of me and started messing with my stuff...
I lost a very special pair of practice poi somewhere there and my film in my camera exploted!!! But nothing was as strange as when I went back to camp and someone had been MURDERD two sights up from my tent!!! I had to Talk to the Shariff in a strange mind set that mornning. Weard things are happenig at that place, I guess some dude got hit by the Fraight train a few years back, and the gosts like to play little games with the people at the bar.
My friend joe heard the man get strangled by his own friend! However he was to drunk to get out of his tent and see what was going on. He will have the haunting voice of the mans cry for 'Help' on his bain for a long time. I feel for him...

haunted you say?
it sounds like a pretty freaky place to be tbh. what was the atmosphere like? were there mischevious murdering types about or was this totally unexpected? perhaps some bums got off the trains and messed about :s
luckily you sound like your losses can be recovered, did they ever catch the murderer?

Ya crazy times! I guess they found the man who did it, it was one of his best friends!! and not a hobo off the train after all. Scarry!
I don't know If i'll be seeing my poi again, I didn't get any of the Grand Junction Frie folks names and # I'll just have to make another pair, howvere the cords and finger straps where from my beaming poi... Maby a gost took them?
