Hello everyone!
I've just been introduced to spinning by my partner and must say I'm hooked! Infact I've hardly put my poi down since I picked them up on saturday.
Progress was initially very fast (picked up the butterfly, weave and windmill within half an hour!) but I had to return home and leave my instructor behind. Looking forward to picking up lots of new moves from HOP to impress him with when I return!Take care!!!

( that was an evil mastermind style if case your wondering) And if you're getting bruised -SOCKS! Wrap them over your poi. So simple, yet so good! Happy Spinning

Thanks for the suggestion popoi, I'll certainly be giving the socks a go as soon as this rain stops and I can get outside again!

Yep, I love my sock poi more than anything
(just don't tell my girlfriend that!) I have socks with rice in, tied up and put inside knee high socks. No more bruises!
