well everyone else seems to have a new intro thread so i thought i might as well get one too. here it goes:
hello everyone...
my name's duballstar (or chris if you ever meet me) and at the moment i'm a student at nottingham uni.
i first started doing poi in france the summer of 2002 but took a while to get started and even longer to get on HOP. my poi guru is my mate laura (elsata) who first taught me stuff, thanx babe!
i currently spin with originalsmit and the rest of the nottingham contingent most of whom still haven't made it onto HOP yet....
as well as poi i also juggle and play with staff and guitar and somehow manage to surf fairly often despite living inland...
musicwise i love loadsa stuff from punk and metal to breakbeat and techno to hip hop to roots reggae not to mention old classics...
hope to meet y'all someday on my travels through the world of poi, spread the love!

falmouth, well i got stranded in cornwall a few weeks before which cost me much money and valuable dissertation writing time... an i was in scotland the week after so i couldn't really afford it... might make the next one money/plans depending....
since then tho i've finished me degree, been on a 3 week mash up bender and had lots of fun but now have to leave notts for slurrey an hopefully a job as i'm skint...

Fed up of work yet? It really is a lot of fun! but it does finance some important things so there are up sides.
Hope to see you in Falmouth before you disappear off.
FoF nights are really strating to pick up again and I think that drumming group has decided to join us every week which always makes for some wicked spinning.

Dubs now you have finished your dissertation will you have time to make the transporter machine that you were talking about last year? I really need it to beam me places. It will save on train fares If you can get it to time travel too that would be cool.... I could go forward in time to get tickets for glasto 2007

(there's a word for it but frith knows what) anyway alls ya gotta do is go into a deep yogi trance until you reach the point at which you can detach your mind from your physical body an then fly through the astral plane to the desired point in the space/time con-tin-ooo-um where all that's left is to convince the people that are they that you are too even though they can't perceive the physical manifestation of your body... essentially it's just becoming a voice in peoples heads which convinces them that your there when you're not.. sort of like being a psychic hallucination but able to join in with all the fun from the comfort of your own sofa.... easy! 
an G, the jobs not bad man. was a goodwood festivl of speed over the weekend but missed out on waiting on lots of famous people on sunday to go spin poi in guildford... fair swap in my books!
an lastly i have a favourite moth. i found this one (well not this one exactly) in the bathroom this morning, looks like some kind of angel...

guildford's wicked ry, the summers coming and we're all havin fun.
lexy was at that forest party with us where i took those photos... she was totaly wasted but swears she behaved herself in australia.. i don't beleive her! you should have a look for her max power car magazine modelling photo in my gallery if you wanna see what she's been up too....
