Hi everyone! New to this site so here is a little about me……

I am from the UK (London originally, but I have become semi-nomadic in recent years) and learnt poi last summer – I have found it is kind of a seasonal pastime in the UK after spending far too much money replacing the landlords light fittings!

Hobbies: poi (obviously), diablo (not too good at that though), mountain biking, getting blind drunk and making a complete ass of myself, also trying to learn juggling (I don’t seem to be good at things which leave my hands).

Movies: favourites are Romeo and Juliet and Moulin Rouge (I like Baz Luhrmann’s style) also Gangs of New York, Pirates of the Carribean, Ice age and Lord of the Rings (any of them, they were all fantastic). I could go on forever on films – but I won’t coz it will bore you stupid!

No, I am not a media person! I am an engineer by trade and I am currently studying for a Masters (so I am a student) in Energy (thought it best to study combustion in detail if I am to set fire to myself).

Books: Sadly don’t get much time to read anything other than study books although favourite book of all time is To Kill a Mocking bird.

Music: will listen to anything which is real music (as opposed to manufactured by record labels)

Anyway, enough said about me…….

I was always scared with my mother's obsession with the good scissors. It made me wonder if there were evil scissors lurking in the house somewhere.
