Just wanted to post a few words about Cosmos Circus skills at Lauriston. I can't recommend this event enough. For anybody who needs some time out from whatever their day to day is, the combination of the activities, the amazing place and relaxing therapies of Anna's yoga and the wood powered sauna, this is the thing to do.

On the other side if you want to pick up basic skills, move on to new stuff, or showcase an act that you're developing, you will be in an environment where everybody is valued and you will be encouraged and nurtured. The experience of being amongst a group of people all sharing their abilities for a week is quite different to that of the one day events or hour long workshops. Andrewjuggler wink

Hey Loose feet, (or should I call you andrew?)

Good to read your posting here.

You didn't actually say if you were going though? I hope so.
I have great memories of previous events spent with you.

Axis... Great to hear you are coming again, I wonder what stunning performance you have got up your sleeve this year. It must be a few years since I last saw you. Will be good to catch up again.

Coza my dear friend... Of course you could have a lift.... Take time off school if neccesary... move mountains... sell your soul to the devil... sell your guitar... take up lap dancing... come busking with me to get the money...
do whatever it takes... but get there.

I would take great delight in showing you round the magical kingdom of Laurieston.

and last but not least... Bluecat, I don't think we have met yet (at least not in this life) but looking forward to seeing you there.

LOve and hugs all round

Wahey! Great to hear from you regulars - Fable, Axis, Loose Feet and new people as well. Bookings are already hovering about the 30 mark - never before have there been 30 deposits this far in advance. (This is year 12!) Looks like it could be a big event this time. I don't really know what the max number is - I suspect Laurieston will want to put a limit at around 50 - so 20 spaces left!!!

A few cancellations and a few more bookings - so still about 30 people coming.
At least six are HoP members. I have to send the deposits and final numbers
up to Laurieston Hall within the next couple of weeks. So anyone else who
wants to come don't leave it too long... Any questions just get in touch:

OK my last post on this event.
So far there will be 37 of us whooping it up for five days at this mansion
in SW Scotland. We can take more bookings but only over the next week.
Then the list must be finalised and the deposits sent north.
This is your last chance to come to Laurieston Hall 2004:

well you won't have to wait long now Axis,

just a few days to go. I should really start putting some clothes in the washing machine, and looking out my old tent etc.

Monday evening.... I shall get the sauna and bonfire going (if Andrew hasn't already done it)

Tuesday is the Beltane full moon. Good evening for circle dancing... jumping over the bonfire... fertility rituals...

And oh yes... and I'm to be 'Queen of the May'

See you all there.
